Today we did the following:
1. Spelling pre-test: Unit 10
2. Corrected pre-tests
3. Checked rough draft of parody (due today!)
4. Reviewed dialogue punctuation rules
5. Assigned/completed three dialogue worksheets
HW- Typed draft of parody and dialogue worksheets due tomorrow
This blog has been set up for students and parents to see what we did in class each day and also to get the homework assignments. Currently, it is not a place to add comments/questions, but may be set up for that in the future.

- I am the English teacher on the 8-O team at Oregon Middle School. This is my eighth year teaching eighth grade English at OMS. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary/Middle School Education and Special Education from St. Norbert College. I earned a Masters Degree in Professional Development from UW-LaCrosse and a second Masters Degree from Cardinal Stritch University in School Administration. My husband and I are originally from the Milwaukee area, but love Madison and now call it home. We had our first baby in January, and are loving every second spent with our daughter, McKenna.
